| Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is a wonderful place to bring your family or sweetheart for a vacation. This little town that you used to pass on through to get to Gatlinburg, has become a vacation destination of its own. The most know attraction is Dollywood and offers many hours of family fun. But there are many things to do in Pigeon Forge. See a show at Country Tonite or ride go-carts at one of the many area tracks. Bungee jump or free-fall on a giant swing. And then there is shopping...outlet shopping that compares to anywhere else in the country. Build a bear at Boyd's Bear Country or eat in one of the many fine local resturaunts. | Gatlinburg is a nice little town at the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies is a favorite place for tourists and locals alike. Walk the parkway and visit many interesting shops and shows in the Gatlinburg area. Ride the aerial tram to Ober Gatlinburg for winter skiing, ice skating and other fun and games. Wintertime is also a good time to see thousands of lights during Winterfest. So venture out of your cabin and see what Gatlinburg has to offer.
